Students should also be aware of any particular Inherent Requirements of a program.
The Inherent Requirements are those that students must demonstrate in order to complete a course or program. They are those components, which if removed or substituted would substantially impact on the learning outcomes.
Please discuss any issues with the program area or a Student Services Officer at any campus.
Selection into Certificate I and II courses for SACE students.
For Certificate I/II level courses, a TAFE SA Certificate I/II Score is used.
- The score is calculated on subjects Successfully Completed at either Stage 1 or Stage 2
- The score is based on A, B and C grades, not on scaled scores
- Recognised Studies from IB, interstate, higher education and VET awards can contribute
- Credits for extra‐curricular activities, partial completion of subjects, and other activities counting towards SACE/NTCET completion only count in the Certificate I/II score if they are graded, and only if an activity gains at least 10 credits towards the SACE
- Additional points are awarded to students who successfully complete subjects relevant to the TAFE SA courses applied for.
Preferred subjects/pathways - same and related areas
