Your record of enrolment and results is stored electronically. You can generate an unofficial record of your results at any time, using your myTAFESA login.
Please note this unofficial record may include interim results that are subsequently updated prior to an official Academic Transcript being issued. You will receive an official Academic Transcript showing a record of your results in a particular award when you have completed studies in that award. See Result Codes.
Please note that TAFE SA is required to accurately record all results including Withdrawals.
Once you have completed the requirements of an award (such as Certificate, Diploma or Degree) you will be eligible to receive an official TAFE SA parchment accompanied by an official Academic Transcript. You need to apply to receive your parchment, using the relevant form. We encourage you to apply for your Parchment as soon as you have met the requirements for an award.
Your award will only be conferred when the academic records show that you have met all the requirements for the award and have paid all outstanding debts. The subject or course coordinator is responsible for confirming your eligibility for an award after your academic records and enrolment have been checked for accuracy. In most cases, formal graduation ceremonies are organised for the presentation of award Parchments.
Academic requirements not met
If you claim an award when you have not met the academic requirements, the course co-ordinator will advise which additional requirements need to be met for you to receive a Parchment.
You may have your Parchment and accompanying Academic Transcript posted to you by submitting a written and signed request along with confirmation of your current address. This will be sent via registered mail.
All parchments have a unique number which is recorded against your Student ID. Only one parchment is issued per qualification. If you require someone else to collect your parchment from the campus, you must provide written and signed permission.
