Multimedia Developers

Multimedia qualifications concentrate on the design and production of interface design for use in websites, DVD, CD-ROM, and mobile device authoring. Qualifications look at skills in creating film, television, video, 3D modelling and animation programs. Graduates from certificate and diploma courses in multimedia have opportunities to gain employment in creating websites, audiovisual presentations and interactive kiosks. Skills developed in graphic design, animation and authoring will lead to fulfilling careers within the multimedia industry including work with web developers and screen production companies. TAFE SA in its delivery of the qualifications places a strong emphasis on authoring and design skills and developing skills needed for effective content management.

Courses which are accredited meet the national standards as set down by the National Training Framework (NTF), the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and National quality assurance requirements such as the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF). The courses are recognised throughout Australia and once you have finished your studies, by completing the relevant core and elective subjects, your efforts are recognised by achieving a qualification and receiving a formal parchment. Assessment is often conducted in real or simulated work places which measure your ability to perform competently in job focused outcomes.
