Certificate courses in this sector provide graduates with the skills and knowledge to work in a diverse range of business organisations as an accounts receivable and payable clerk; payroll clerk; bookkeeper; general clerical assistant; or trainee accountant. Skills to be developed include maintaining financial records; processing journal entries; preparing financial reports; processing payroll; communicating in the workplace; using technology in the workplace; and resolving customer complaints. Diploma graduates may find work as assistant accountants; bookkeepers; accounting technicians; office manager/administrators; or senior accounts clerks, in a broad range of modern business practices. Graduates of the Advanced Diploma can find work as accountants, auditors and Tax Agents. This qualification meets the educational requirements for membership to the National Institute of Accountants. Courses in banking and finance give students the skills and knowledge to work in a variety of financial institutions and positions.

Accredited Training - Accountants, Accounting Clerks, Banking and Finance Workers

Courses which are accredited meet the national standards as set down by the National Training Framework (NTF), the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and National quality assurance requirements such as the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF). The courses are recognised throughout Australia and once you have finished your studies, by completing the relevant core and elective subjects, your efforts are recognised by achieving a qualification and receiving a formal parchment. Assessment is often conducted in real or simulated work places which measure your ability to perform competently in job focused outcomes.
