Expected Employment Outcome Example
You would be involved in a range of business activities in an organisation which conducts business between countries. You may have the opportunity for travel in your professional career as you engage in negotiation, trade and the building of relationships with clients on a global context. This course provides advanced levels of skill for engaging in global trade by enabling participants to acquire and successfully develop knowledge, skills and attributes associated with effective management operations in the international business environment.

Certificate IV in International Trade
4 international trade units from promote compliance with legislation; research international business opportunities; apply knowledge of import and export international conventions, laws and finance; prepare business advice on export Free on Board Value; prepare business advice on the taxes and duties for international trade transactions; plan for international trade; research international markets; market goods and services internationally; implement international client relationship strategies; plus 6 elective units.
Diploma of International Business
5 international units from report on finances related to international business; analyse data from international markets; forecast international market and business needs; promote products and services to international markets; profile international markets; analyse consumer behaviour for specific international markets; build international client relationships; build international business networks; and 3 elective units.

Award - SATAC application process
- Applications for the 2012 Intake must be made through the centralised TAFE Admissions system via SATAC (South Australian
Tertiary Admissions Centre) by the advertised date.
- Applicants can make one application for up to six course preferences.

Fees
Charges vary between courses and subjects and are based on a rate per hour. Concessions may be available to holders of certain government concession cards, and in some circumstances fees may be paid by instalment. A brochure detailing the refund of fees policy is available at each campus.
The standard TAFE SA fee for State Government-subsidised courses undertaken by students enrolled in two consecutive semesters is capped at $2,210 in 2011. This fee cap does not apply to all courses.
Students are generally expected to purchase their own textbooks, personal equipment, uniforms and stationery.
