Expected Employment Outcome Example

The General English (GE) courses are designed for International students (ie student visa holders) and holders of other temporary visas who wish to improve their English for a variety of purposes. The courses aim to develop the students’ general English skills and prepare them to be successful in interacting with native speakers and teachers in Australia.

Note: Completion of a TAFE South Australia course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.

Introduction to studying in Australia; Speaking, Pronunciation and Oral Presentations; Listening and Discussion; Reading and Writing Skills; Extension Studies: eg Drama, Film Studies, Grammar Extension, Preparation for IELTS
