Expected Employment Outcome Example

Qualifications are useful for those seeking work as marketing executives; small business owners; sales and advertising officers; and managers. Training includes marketing and consumer behaviour; supervisory and frontline management skills; developing and operating a business plan; selling; advertising; marketing research; promotional plans; and creative concepts. Always in demand, a marketer can take on almost any role increasing the chance of employment. A qualification in marketing can lead to a career in a range of industries, including general business management, finance and advertising to name a few. With a qualification in marketing, the sky is the limit. TAFE SA in its delivery of the qualifications, places a strong emphasis on working with industry, with students at higher levels of study undertaking research and plans for partner organisations.

Profiling a target audience; conducting pre-campaign test; monitoring advertising production; scheduling advertisements; analysing and presenting research information; coordinating implementation of customer service strategies; monitoring a safe work environment; identifying marketing opportunities; analysing consumer behaviour for specific markets; plus conducting market research.
