Pre-requisites Prior to enrolling at TAFE SA, applications for a Firearms Licence must be made to your local Police Station. Each applicant will be required to produce to police at the time of application, proof of identity, age and address via the 100 point system. It is then a matter of the applicant waiting for confirmation by mail from the Firearms Section and then he/she can enrol in a firearms class. Up to this time there is no financial cost involved.
