Cost: $495
Some courses have CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) rebate. If you are in the building industry, you (the applicant) hold a current CITB membership card at time of enrolment, may make you eligible to pay the rebate fee only. Participants are required to attach evidence of your CITB eligibility. Please send this in with your registration form. Where Fee For Service classes have a CITB concession - Only on completion and passing of the course will participants accounts be credited the difference in fees owing, otherwise full fee applies. Please refer to refund policy at the following web address: http://www.tafesa.edu.au/apply-enrol/fees-payments/refund-policy. Apprentices can only do this course in their fourth year of training, otherwise FULL FEE APPLIES. Group fees can be negotiated with an enterprise/organisation. Fees can be subject to change. This course will run whenever demand dictates. A minimum of eight students is required for a class to commence.
Additional Cost: Plus an extra cost of $5.50 charge for student ID card if student does not have a current card for this year (payment is only required once for the whole year).

Skills Covered

Auto CAD Level 3 Advanced
This course fine-tunes the skills learned in earlier applications of Auto CAD and will be project based.

o Setting up layers including line definition
o Setting up dimensioning
o Setting up to measure degrees, minutes, seconds
o Setting up text styles
o Using model and paper space to scale drawings
o Setting up and using viewpoints
o Developing architectural symbols
o Printing to scale
o Using a range of drawing tools

Assessment: Practical assignments

Description

Design and develop a set of working drawings for a single level domestic residence including sections, details and site plan. This will be achieved using the knowledge and skills developed in Introduction and Intermediate Auto CAD Version 2012, as listed below.
