This course is offered every term (4 in a year). From second term and every term there after Continuing/re-enrolling students need to enrol by a given timeframe - then the course is open for new enrolments.
PLEASE NOTE: A minimum of 8 students is required in each class for it to commence with a maximum of 12 students. Classes fill up quickly; students will be enrolled on a first in first serve basis. A waiting list will be taken for future classes to be arranged depending on student demand. |

Plus an extra cost of $5.50 charge for student ID card if student does not have a current card for this year (payment is only required once for the whole year). |

Woodwork
Beginners will be required to use hand and power tools to make an oilstone box before proceeding with a small project of your own choice.
Students will extend their knowledge and skills in joinery including tool care, fixing joints, built-in cupboards, benches etc. Students will become more experienced in the use of: cutting joints, finishing surfaces, cutting straight and compound angles, jointing materials when making their own projects. Use of workshop machines is limited and machining is carried out by your lecturer.
